Office of the Commissioner of Official Languages

The Office of the Commissioner of Official Languages is responsible for protecting language rights and promoting English and French in Canadian society. Reporting directly to Parliament, the Office of the Commissioner has a mandate to ensure that federal institutions comply with the Official Languages Act.

OCOL has commissioned OpenPlus to introduce Drupal WxT as their new platform of choice for all web content publishing. We are migrating their entire site and key features including a Map solution built on Open Layers, their blog, calendar, as well as a full order fulfillment solution for a public storefront. We are using a sophisticated scripted migration solution to minimize the transition and to cleanse some of the old CLF2 templates with little to no human intervention.

We are planning a full collaborative intranet solution following this launch. Stay tuned for project updates and screenshots once the site is unveiled in 2014!
