Ontario Public Service Employees Union

The Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU) is a trade union that represents about 130,000 employees in health care, social services, education, the justice sector, the LCBO, Ontario Colleges, and municipalities of the Province of Ontario. OPSEU has long history, beginning with the establishment of the Civil Service Association of Ontario in 1911.

After a thorough evaluation of candidates, the Union commissioned OpenPlus to be their lead technology consultants and to lead their modernization initiatives to bring OPSEU into the latest website, mobile technologies. They need to adhere to proper standards including accessibility and need a solution that will meet their multilingual requirements. More importantly for the union is to have a solution that can provide a solution to their complex site content which serves a mixed audience. OpenPlus will build a site from Information Architecture and Design, to full deployment and training. We have also been awarded their intranet project which will function closely with their public website.
